In addition, nearly about 12.5 million people aged over 65 years hospitalized per year for delirium (Inouye, Westendorp & Saczynski, 2014). Thus, it can be said that the older people are the most vulnerable group for delirium. On the other hand, the aged care AINs or Assistant in Nursing play a central role in the care of elderly people. They works in the nursing homes, hospitals, residential facilities and home care service to provide adequate care and support the elderly people suffering from various health issues (Morilla-Herrera et al., 2016). As the elderly people are more vulnerable to delirium, the aged care AINs have been chosen as the intended audience for this assignment.           In order to provide effective care service to the elder adults with delirium while ensuring quality of the service and patient safety it is important for the AINs to gather knowledge about the illness. It would help them to understand and identify the symptoms and introduce effective strategies to manage such patients in an effective manner (Nydahl et al., 2017). There are various way to provide information to the intended audience and involve an adult learner in the reading and writing task. However, learning concepts from poster is one of the most interesting way to gather information and inform a learner about the topic. This is because poster represents key information briefly with some interesting pictures or graphics that attract the mind of the learner and make the learning process more interesting. Such key information regarding the topic helps the learner to understand the key concept of the topic and pictures or graphics help to encourage the learners to involve in the reading and writing tasks (Billings & Halstead, 2015).           This assignment focuses to inform the aged care AINs about delirium management. In this regards the poster will develop a PICO question and identify relevant literatures to answer the PICO question in an effective manner. Developing PICO question would help the learners to identify the target population for the illness and use an effective intervention to achieve positive health outcomes while comparing the interventions with other treatment process (Bubalo, 2018). For example, in this particular poster developed for the assignment the effectiveness of day/night cycle will be discussed. The poster would help the learner to learn about the common symptoms of delirium within elder adults. The information from the evidence-based literatures would help to identify the effectiveness of day/night cycle and the way of utilizing the intervention to reduce delirium and manage patients with delirium (Billings & Halstead, 2015). In addition the learning resource would help to identify the current practice based on day/night cycle to manage delirium. Hence the aged care AINs would utilize the knowledge while providing care to patient with delirium and improve their quality of service (Bubalo, 2018).
