Files Answer: Tools and methods in identification of hazard According to Boyle, 2015) there are various methods that have been initiated in the bid of identifying, evaluating and provide appropriate measures in the view of curbing any eminent threat that is causing such threats. Risk management strategies encompasses a lot of other elements such as identification of risks in the view of averting it in the system for sustainability of the business in the long run. Some of the notable techniques in identifying risk are enumerated below as follows; self-assessment and interviews, risk questionnaires, SWOT analysis, brainstorming, use of scenario analysis and lastly the use of technology which seems to be primary in this digital era. Some of the tips that are very useful in identification of risks are; checking the manufactures’ instructions, assessing ill health records and lastly carry out non-routine operations. It is ideal to state that checking manufacturer’s instructions keeps the client at a better position to know how best to use a particular item (Hughes & Ferrett, 2016).  By so doing, he is able to take some precautionary measures so as to curb the risks that are associated with the said product. Practically, the type of product determines the safety measures that has to be adopted by an individual so as to reduce the risk related to it. For instance, if one is dealing with some harmful chemicals, machinery and asbestos, there is need for the said person to be very cautious when handling them so as not to exposed to harmful gases that are the major characteristics of this product in discussion.  As earlier indicated the primary aim of risk identification is to assess, evaluate and therefore mitigate some of the possible threats in a particular environment. Appropriateness of Risk identification methods Merkle (2015) states that using brainstorming approach it is incumbent to state that the whole group or team player should be fully involved or engaged in the view of ascertaining some of the problem that centers on the threat that is surrounding a particular firm. This potential risks ought to be identified by all the members in the venture. Therefore, it would be very instrumental for any form of potential risks to be recorded no matter how minor it may be for proper measures to be instituted in advance. Feasibly, documentation is very paramount since one may be able to offer what was earlier discussed and the probable strategies has been put in place so as to avert the threats that are caused by them in the organization (Hull & Bowman, 2014). When working in industry that uses asbestos, it will be ideal for the venture to provide appropriate safety gears to their employees. This ensures that the safety standards of the employees are looked into critically to the latter. Moreover, the venture may decide to use alternative chemicals instead of only pegging themselves on asbestos since the volatility rate of using asbestos is incredibly very high. There are various reports from different organization and research firm that has indicated that asbestos is very harmful to its handler (Yang, 2015).  This therefore implies that car manufacturing industry that make use of this dangerous product ought to employ a new strategy so as not to endanger the lives of clients who are handling the products made from it. The three primary questions that will aid in identification of risks are; hazard, consequences and likelihood. Looking at this term critically, hazard refers to the threat or danger. Consequences implies to the magnitude of such threat in ideal situation. Lastly; likelihood suggest the probability of such threat occurring in a particular environment (Ferrett & Hughes, 2016).   Therefore, in managing risk, it will be important for the firm to identify the hazard so as to provide appropriate measures to take. There are various actions that has to be implemented to see the viability of the strategies initiated and further determine how the whole process may be fully implemented for its efficacy. To ensure that the whole process is ideal one has to conduct inspections on regular basis so assess whether they may be some of the underlying factors that affect the performance of the said organization and whether its workforce is duly trained on their safety before commencing on their duty. It is important to state that proper training should be carried out for the workforce to have requisite knowledge on how to curb some of the risks within the business premise in the view of bettering the services and increase on the productivity of the organization (Sutton, 2015).  Efficacy of communication in Risk identification There is always need for a venture to develop a good work plan to ascertain the magnitude of the risk that centers its operations so at to devise appropriate strategies to avert them for smooth running of the activities in the firm. The success of the work plan is squarely dependent on the involvement of the various stakeholders and efficacy of the communication (Murray & Thimgan, 2016).  Moreover, the business should ensure that its staff is well trained on their safety. This goes along way by installing some of the gadgets that would greatly aid the firm to avert risk related to fire. The training of the staff should be conducted on regular basis so as to acquaint them with necessary skills and knowledge in carrying out the safety measurers effectively to the latter (Miller & Sorochty, 2015).   It is the prerogative of the management to ensure that it has fully analyzed its checklist to evaluate the successes of their action plan in mitigating risk in the firm. On the same breath, there is need tom identify the root cause of a given risk within the organization so that the management may use its tools of mitigation to see how best they can fully do away with such risk or rather even reduce its magnitude to the company. The bottom-line of all these processes solely lies in the communication. Effective communication plays a very significant role in seeing to it that every member within the organization has fully been involved in the day to day activities of the organization.    References BOYLE, T.
