Answer: Types Of Healthcare Organizations Patients of Korea have the freedom of choosing any doctor or healthcare organization seeking help. Initially patient can go to any physician and if they feel that the patient needs to seek help from any hospital or specified organization for any specific disease they refer the patient to that organization by issuing a referral slip. Currently Korea have over 91600 physicians practicing there with five types of healthcare organization s, including tertiary care hospital, hospital, general hospital, clinic and pharmacy. Structure Of The Healthcare Organizations In Korea Republic the clinics of the doctors and most of the hospitals are in private sector or privately owned apart from a few numbers of community healthcare organizations. Healthcare insurances are provided by the government where everyone must enroll their names. The focul point of healthcare structure in Korea is National Health Insurance Act (Han et al., 2015). Role Of The Healthcare Organizations And External Factors Those Affects Healthcare System People of Korea are actually fortunate because overall they have a very little spending capability but the healthcare organization structure with help of government policies always ry to provide them with best quality medical checkups and treatments. The hospitals and clinics play a major role in providing these facilities with the help of National Insurance Act which was implemented for the benefit of the people of Korea. It can be said that political and economic factors affect the healthcare systems to some point. As people of Korea have a lesser amount of spending capabilities, so government is trying hard to provide them with best possible medical help.
