Support your recommendation with the positive and negative aspects of the plan. Answer: Managed Health Plan The organization should adopt a managed health plan. Typically, a managed health plan can be considered a type of health insurances which have contracts particularly with health care providers and other medical-related facilities. The primary aim, in this case, is mainly to ensure that people are provided with health care services at a reduced cost. As a health administrator, in this case, this is the main reason why I would actively support and recommend for the need and consideration of an effectively managed health plan. Typically, one of the most common problems that people face when it comes to the health sector is the cost of health services (Bachrach, Guyer, Meier, Meerschaert & Brandel, 2018). It has resulted in people suffering due to lack of enough money to pay for different health services which have in turn resulted in more suffering and problems related to their health. The managed health plan will focus mainly on providing health care services at a lower cost for the different individual, and as a result, the health sector will have been improved in one way or another. My recommendation is based on two main advantages. The managed health plan does not only focus on how it will affect its patients. It also focuses on improving health conditions and also the health industry in general. The health sector is critical in any community or a country in general. Ensuring that people will be able to easily access health care services will be a step to ensure effective performance in other sectors. Other than that, it will allow people to seek out care from a specified network while at the same time allows information to scurry within that network (Reich, Rosemann, Rapold, Blozik & Senn, 2014).. In general, managed care plan helps to cater to the needs of customers and patients and ensure effectiveness in consideration to the operations of the organization in general.
