Answer: Difference Among Love, Sex And Intimacy The words love, sex and intimacy are correlated. These words they do not, however mean the same thing. They are three words with totally different meanings and they can be differentiated. Intimacy for instance refers to all the physical, economic, social, spiritual, emotional and sexual components that play the role of enhancing and improving the connection that usually exists and togetherness between two persons in a relationship (Guerrero, Andersen, Afifi, 2017). Love on the other hand is typically a mental state that is characterized by a very deep interpersonal connection between two persons. Sex refers to either male or female. A person can either be a male or female and that is defined as the sex of that person. There are some certain physical differences that set apart males and females Common Challenges In Relationships In all relationships there are some challenges that are experienced. These challenges are a threat and when not well handled/taken care of they can completely cripple the relationships. Some of the common challenges in relationships are discussed below; Infidelity-Statistics have shown time and again that infidelity is increasingly becoming a very common challenge in almost all relationships (Vohs & Baumeister, 2016).Infidelity is the act of cheating on your partner with some other third party that is not part of the relationship. Infidelity has some extremely devastating effects and these are depression and humiliation among others. Conflict-This is a relationship challenge that is brought about by difference in opinion between two parties in a relationship. The two persons in a relationship are from different backgrounds and they therefore differ in a number of ways such as values, dreams, desires and also perceptions. When people in a relationship do not agree on a certain thing then the immediate effect is conflict. Communication-It is usually recommended that when two persons are in a relationship then they should be in a position to communicate well with each other. They should be in a position to communicate openly and directly without any fear whatsoever. This is not the case, however, some people are not in a position to communicate openly with others and this greatly poisons a relationship (Vohs & Baumeister, 2016).
