The risk of spread of an infection can be minimized through hand hygiene where one is to thoroughly wash their hands, environmental hygiene whereby one is to ensure that their surrounding is clean, vaccinations, and surveillance, antibiotic stewardship, care coordination, following evidence, safety program support, and screening of patients. Patients who have a particularly contagious disease can be quarantined to prevent the spread to others(Gerald, 2013) 6.Identify the process of managing the following emergencies in the workplace.
